In implementing the Resolution of the Federation’s Party Committee on the direction, tasks, and work program for 2025, the Party Committee of the Federation of Geophysics has led and directed the Party committees at all levels, affiliated units, and all cadres, Party members, and employees throughout the Federation to closely follow the program and plan assigned by the Vietnam Geological and Mineral Resources Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, to carry out political tasks and achieve results in various aspects. Outstanding results in leadership and direction of professional tasks are as follows:
In 2025, the Federation will implement 7 tasks including: 3 economic development tasks, 3 environmental development tasks, and 1 new grassroots-level science and technology project, with a state budget allocation of 118,952 million VND for 2025;
Effectively carry out the work of developing plans and estimates for state budget revenue and expenditure, detailed plans and budget outlines for tasks, projects, and research topics in 2025;
National security and defense work has been carried out effectively, and the order and safety of the agency have been ensured;
Maintain and effectively promote the role and functions of socio-political organizations in the unit’s activities, in labor and production emulation movements, charitable activities, etc.;
We always ensure sufficient employment for 100% of our staff, and the income of officials and employees in the unit is stable and gradually increasing;
The agency is united and cohesive internally. Its operations are orderly and comply with legal regulations. The regulations on grassroots democracy are well implemented. The rights and benefits of employees are implemented correctly and fully;
The agency effectively implements democratic principles in its operations, regularly updating internal regulations to ensure compliance with the law and suitability to the actual situation. It consistently prioritizes the quality and effectiveness of assigned tasks. The unit’s production activities have expanded, and it has successfully carried out tasks requiring high levels of expertise;
The training of staff and the professional development of officials and employees have been carried out effectively. Currently, the unit has a young workforce with solid professional qualifications and capabilities in scientific and technological research. Professional staff actively study and conduct scientific research, mastering advanced equipment and modern technology, and meeting the increasingly high demands of the industry and society, especially in the research of geological and mineral resources at deep levels;
Modern machinery and equipment are being used effectively in specialized fields. Young staff members of the unit are given priority in training to improve their professional skills and master modern technology and equipment, contributing to increased production efficiency.
The Federation has implemented the volume of projects according to the plan assigned by the Vietnam Department of Geology and Minerals, the quality of the documents meets technical requirements and has been approved by the management level.
A notable highlight in 2025 was the successful organization of the 22nd Party Congress of the Federation of Geophysics, for the 2025-2030 term. Simultaneously, numerous cultural, artistic, and sporting activities were implemented to celebrate important political events. Policies and benefits for employees continued to be prioritized, with practical activities such as organizing tours and vacations, and caring for the material and spiritual well-being of officials, employees, and workers.
Comrade Tran My Dung – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Geological and Mineral Resources Department, presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Federation of Geophysics for the term 2025 – 2030.
Furthermore, the emulation and reward system was implemented promptly, openly, and transparently, creating motivation for creative labor competition throughout the Federation. In 2025, many outstanding collectives and individuals were commended and rewarded, such as: Comrade Lai Manh Giau, Head of the Federation of Geophysics, received a commendation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; 3 outstanding individuals were honored at the Conference of Advanced Exemplars for achieving many outstanding achievements in scientific research, geological survey tasks, and mineral resource management… contributing to spreading the spirit of responsibility and dedication.
Entering 2026, the Federation of Geophysics will continue to focus on implementing key projects, promoting the emulation movement in labor and production, improving the quality of human resources, gradually modernizing equipment, aiming for sustainable development, and making practical contributions to the basic geological and mineral resource research of the country.
