In a vibrant and joyful atmosphere celebrating the Party and the New Year, on the morning of February 23, 2026 (the 7th day of the first lunar month of the Year of Bính Ngọ), the Federation of Geophysics held its annual New Year’s gathering. Attending the event were Comrade Lai Manh Giau – Secretary of the Party Committee and Head of the Federation, Comrade Kieu Huynh Phuong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Federation, Comrade Pham Quang Hung – Member of the Party Committee Executive Board and Deputy Head of the Federation, along with the heads and deputy heads of departments and units under the Federation, and all officials, staff, and employees of the Federation. This is also an annual activity aimed at fostering enthusiasm, unity, and collective effort within the Federation to successfully achieve and complete all tasks in 2026.

In the celebratory atmosphere of the New Year, Comrade Kieu Huynh Phuong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Federation – extended New Year greetings and, on behalf of the Federation’s leadership, read the New Year greeting letter from the Director of the Vietnam Department of Geology and Minerals to all officials, employees, and workers.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Federation’s leadership, Comrade Lai Manh Giau – Secretary of the Party Committee and Head of the Federation – extended his best wishes for the new year, wishing all officials, staff, and workers of the Federation a new year full of victories and success in all endeavors. He hoped that in the new year, the collective of officials, staff, and workers would unite, utilize favorable advantages to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and lead the Federation to increasingly steady development, contributing to the overall development of the country in the new era and looking forward to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Geophysical Division (October 1967 – October 2027).

Immediately after the meeting, the Federation’s leaders went to extend New Year greetings to each department, affiliated unit, and all officials and employees working within the Federation.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of excitement, togetherness, joy, and warmth, marking the beginning of the first working day of the year with enthusiasm and hope for new successes and achievements for the Federation of Geophysics in 2026.
