In order to help the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team, officers, civil servants and employees at the Federation of Geophysics to master the legal documents on fire prevention, fighting and rescue, and equip them with knowledge about fire, explosion and measures to handle fire and explosion incidents. On June 16, 2025, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department and Rescue of Hanoi City Police organized a training course on fire prevention and fighting and rescue for the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team, officers, civil servants and employees of the Federation.
Overview of the Conference
Participating in the Training and Practice session on the side of the Federation were comrade Pham Quang Hung – Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Federation, Head of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team Command, along with all members of the grassroots Fire Prevention and Fighting Team as well as officers and employees of the Federation.
Comrade Pham Quang Hung, Deputy Federation President, gave a speech directing the Conference.
On the lecturer side, there was comrade Nguyen Thanh Tung – lecturer of Fire Prevention and Fighting University and comrades from the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department and Rescue Department of Hanoi City Police.

Theoretical part: introducing the State’s legal documents on fire prevention and fighting and basic information on some major fires that have caused serious damage to people and property that have occurred nationwide and in the province recently. At the same time, the propaganda staff imparted a lot of knowledge such as methods to build a mass movement to participate in fire prevention and fighting, the process of organizing fire fighting, practicing the preservation and use of fire prevention and fighting equipment and means, methods of organizing fire safety inspections at the facility, standards on inspection, maintenance and repair of technical equipment of fire alarm and fire fighting systems, how to use the 114 fire alarm app, etc.
Practical part: The grassroots fire prevention team, officers, civil servants and workers of the Federation were instructed by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department on how to use fire extinguishers to extinguish gas cylinders, how to escape in a fire, and how to use some common fire fighting equipment.
The training and practice of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue plans is organized annually by the Federation in close coordination with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police according to regulations. With a duration of 01 day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team, officers, civil servants and employees of the Federation listened, seriously absorbed the knowledge and experience that the officers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department conveyed and instructed and directly operated the use of fire fighting equipment, contributing to the completion of the goal of ensuring fire safety at the facility.
