This morning, March 4, 2019, the Geophysical division Associations held a Conference of Delegates, Officials and Employees in 2019. Attended and directed the Conference towards the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam. Nam has Comrade Lai Hong Thanh Standing Committee member, Deputy Director of General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam, Comrade Dinh Duc Anh – Chairman of Trade Union of General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam and representatives of Department of the General Department. On the side of the Federation were Mr. Lai Manh Giau – Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Union, Mr. Nguyen Truong Luu – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Federation, Mr. Hoang Van Long – Deputy Head of the Federation, Mr. Tran Van Dao – President of the Trade Union, Head of Organization and Administration Department, Mr. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong – Chief Accountant, Deputy Head of Planning and Finance Department, comrades in the Party Committee of the Union’s key staff and all representatives of officials and employees in the Union.

The conference took place under the direction of the Presidium including 2 comrades: Lai Manh Giau – Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Union; Mr. Tran Van Dao – President of Trade Union, Head of Organization and Administration Department; The Secretariat consists of 2 comrades: Nguyen Thi Hong Minh – Deputy Head of the Organization and Administration Department; Mr. Pham Quang Hung – Secretary of the Youth Union.

On behalf of the Union Party Committee, Mr. Hoang Van Long – Deputy Head of the Union read the report summarizing the work in 2018 and the direction of the tasks in 2019. Along with that, Mr. Tran Van Dao – Chairman of the Trade Union, Head of the Union The Organization and Administration Department announced the 2018 Welfare Fund revenue and expenditure report and the 2019 welfare fund expenditure plan and launched the emulation movement in 2019. Thereby, the conference also discussed and commented very actively. In addition, representatives of units and departments have contributed ideas to perfect the internal spending regulation of the Federation. After two years of operation, this Conference with votes of confidence of the delegates elected the People’s Inspection Committee for the new term, consisting of 7 comrades: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Minh, Department of Organization and Administration, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhung- Department of Planning and Finance, Mr. Pham Van Hung, Technical Office, Mr. Lai Ngoc Dung – Doan of Marine Geophysics, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Tiem – Center for Technology and Control Defining machine tool, Mr. Vu Tu Nam – Aeronautical Geophysical Union and Mr. Le Gia Mung – Ground Geophysical Union.

On behalf of the Party Committee and leaders of the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam, Mr. Lai Hong Thanh – Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Director of the General Department highly appreciated the achievements of officials and employees. The Federation of Geophysics and Geophysics Associations is one of the leading units in Geophysics and Geology of the General Department with a staff of long experience. years and talented and creative young cadres have greatly contributed to successfully completing the projects assigned by the General Department, such as the Red River Coal project, the project of Flying from Gravity, Bay of the Sea and the project of flying the sea. Islands, etc.. He wished that the Federation should make more efforts to promote its strengths and abilities to achieve even greater achievements in 2019.

In 2018, the Federation’s trade union organized various sports festivals. meeting to celebrate national holidays as well as important General Department events. Especially in the last year, the Federation sent comrades to participate in the Sports Festival of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and achieved high achievements thereby contributing to the general achievement of the General Department.
