This morning, February 26, 2019, the Geophysical division organized a training conference on Occupational Safety – Occupational Hygiene in 2019 for officials and employees throughout the Federation. Attending the Conference were Mr. Hoang Van Long – Vice President of the Confederation, Mr. Tran Van Dao – Chairman of the Union, Head of the Organization – Administration Department and all employees and employees of the Union.

At the training conference, the trainees were conveyed the basic contents of the system of legal documents on occupational safety and health such as: Labor Code; Law on Occupational Safety and Health (effective from July 1, 2016); other relevant Decrees and Circulars.

In addition, the trainees were informed about general technical issues of occupational safety and health; Regulations on the rights and duties of employers, employees and trade unions and safety nets for occupational safety and health; Purpose and meaning of occupational safety and health work; Organize the management and implementation of regulations on occupational safety and health at the establishment; Dangerous and harmful factors in production and measures to overcome and prevent; Overview of machines, equipment, substances generating dangerous and harmful factors; Safe working process,… Also at the conference, the students held exchange, discussed and directly answered some problems.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Van Long – Deputy Head of Confederation emphasized, the training conference on occupational safety and health in 2019 is very important, helping officials and employees in the Union know how to protect the body, minimize or prevent accidents, injuries that cause disability or death at work, ensure that workers are healthy and do not suffer from occupational diseases or other diseases. other diseases caused by labor, improve knowledge, awareness and responsibility for occupational safety and health, thereby being more proactive in handling incidents occurring at the unit in order to control them to a low level. damage to people and property. Thereby, each student needs to raise a sense of learning and research, mastering the learned knowledge and applying it to practice to be able to ensure absolute safety at work and successfully complete assigned tasks.

Through the training session, officials and employees have acquired basic knowledge on occupational safety to take measures to deploy, prevent, and respond to occupational accidents with the aim of minimize damage to people and property in the production process.

The organization of training courses on occupational safety and health periodically according to regulations is a very practical and regular activity of the Federation, with the aim of widely spreading propaganda to all employees of the Federation.
