From September 27 to September 30, 2019, the Field Inspection Team included: Representatives of Department of Science and Technology, Department of Financial Planning – Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; leadership representatives, Department of Geology, Department of Planning and Finance, Center for Geological Testing – General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam; Representative of leadership, technical department, Department of Planning and Finance, Department of Administrative Organization of the Geophysicam Division and representatives of leaders of the construction unit conducted the field inspection of the Project: “Flying magnetic – gravity ratio 1:250,000 sea and islands of Vietnam”. Project Leader: Dr. Hoang Van Long. Construction unit: Aviation Geophysical Union.
This is the second year that the project has carried out magnetic-gravity flight. The equipment used is a new modern machine system invested by the project’s capital with high accuracy and stability.
The results of the project will be a valuable source of documents for studying geological structures, searching and evaluating minerals, asserting sovereignty over sea and islands as well as serving as a database for national defense and security in the waters of Vietnam. Country.
The Inspection Team highly appreciated the working spirit of the project construction technicians. The equipment system is invested to promote good efficiency, the collected documents ensure the quality to meet the requirements of the Project.
