In the joyful atmosphere of preparing to welcome the new year 2018 with the spirit of solidarity, democracy, openness and frankness, on the morning of February 6, 2018, the Geological Physics Federation solemnly held the Conference of Officers Delegates. Ministry of Public Affairs 2018
Attending the conference on the side of the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam were Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen Member of Standing Committee Deputy Director General of General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam, Comrade Le Duy Dong Member of Standing Committee of the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam. Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam and representatives of departments under the General Department. On the side of the Federation, there were Comrade Lai Manh Giau – Secretary of the Union Party Committee, Head of the Federation of Geophysics, Mr. Nguyen Truong Luu – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Federation, and Mr. Hoang Van Long – Vice President of the Federation. Head of the Federation of Geophysics, Mr. Tran Van Dao- Chairman of the Trade Union Head of the Organization and Administration Department, comrades in the Party Committee and key cadres of the Federation and all the cadres and officials in the Federation League.
Opening the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thi Lan Huong – Deputy Head of Accounting and Statistics Department announced the reason for introducing delegates and introduced the Presidium and Secretary of the Conference
Comrade Nguyen Thi Lan Huong – Deputy Head of Accounting-Statistics Department delivered the opening speech of the Conference.
The conference takes place under the direction of the Presidium including 2 comrades: Lai Manh Giau – Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the Federation of Geophysics Federation; Mr. Tran Van Dao- President of Trade Union, Head of Organization and Administration Department, Conference Secretariat, including 2 comrades: Nguyen Thi Hong Minh- Deputy Head of Organization and Administration Department; Comrade Kieu Huynh Phuong Team Leader- Marine Geophysics Delegation.
On behalf of the Party Committee, Leader of the Union, Mr. Nguyen Truong Luu – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Deputy Head of the Union; Report summarizing work in 2017 and directions and tasks in 2018 and notification of amendments to internal regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Luu – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Delegation read the summary report at the Conference.
On behalf of the “leader of the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen – Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Director of the General Department highly appreciated the achievements achieved by the Federation, and wished the Federation to have a make more efforts to achieve even greater achievements in 2018.

Along with that, Mr. Tran Van Dao – President of the Trade Union, Head of the Organization and Administration Department, read the report on revenue and expenditure of the Welfare Fund in 2017; plan to spend the welfare fund in 2018 and launch the emulation movement in 2018.

Mr. Nguyen Van Suu – Head of Engineering and Planning Department spoke at the Conference.
Finally, the leaders of the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who had achieved excellent achievements in 2017.
The conference was successfully held with resolutions passed.
